Kate Korajac

Full-Spectrum Doula Apprentice

Hi, I’m Kate! My love for birth began in childhood, helping my mom deliver baby goats on our family farm. Growing up in a close-knit homeschooling community, I was always surrounded by babies and mothers, learning firsthand how powerful support and nurturing can be. Those early experiences planted a deep appreciation in my heart for birth, motherhood, and the beauty of new life.

In 2019, I served as a missionary in Sweden, where I found so much joy in helping people grow in their faith and develop a personal relationship with Jesus. I also worked closely with immigrants and refugees, teaching English and Swedish, and witnessing the power of connection and community. That season of my life showed me how important it is to walk alongside others with compassion, encouragement, and love.

Over the years, as friends welcomed their babies, they often told me how my calming and uplifting presence would make a difference in the birth space. Their words stayed with me, and as I continued learning about the childbearing year, I felt God calling me to this work. Now, I’m deeply passionate about helping families create a birth experience that is joyful, peaceful, and meaningful—one that honors a mother’s intuition while embracing the wisdom of medical care when needed.

I believe that God designed our bodies with such intricate wisdom—fearfully and wonderfully made, just as Psalm 139:14 says. The more I learn about birth, the more I see His perfect intention in how we are created. I love blending ancestral wisdom, intuition, and modern knowledge to support families in a way that feels aligned with their values. Whether you’re planning a home birth, hospital birth, or something in between, I will stand beside you, offering encouragement, evidence-based guidance, and faith-filled reassurance.

Birth isn’t just a physical event—it’s an emotional, spiritual, and transformative journey. I want you to feel empowered and at peace, knowing that your intuition and faith will guide you through this season. Whether it’s through prayer, hands-on comfort measures, or simply holding space for you, I will be there to support you in whatever way you need.

When I’m not supporting families, you’ll find me watercolor painting, hiking, gardening, or cooking nourishing, plant-based meals from scratch. I also love playing music with my family—whether it’s classical, bluegrass, or Appalachian clogging, I find so much joy in creativity and movement.

If you’re looking for a doula who will walk alongside you with warmth, faith, and wholehearted support, I would be honored to be part of your journey. Let’s create a birth experience that is filled with peace, strength, and the deep joy that comes with welcoming new life.
