"Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is about
making mothers...strong, competent, capable mothers
who trust themselves and know their inner strength."

Congratulations! You're having a baby. What comes next? If you don't exactly know, you're not alone.
Pregnancy and birth can bring about a multitude of emotions and is a time of significant change. It can feel overwhelming and confusing with so many decisions and so much information to navigate. It's easy to feel like you're drowning in a sea of information and that you must decide which direction to turn to find the answers that make sense to you and your unique journey.

Often, partners feel reluctant to welcome a doula into the birth space because they are nervous that the doula will replace their role or that it will be strange to have someone else in the delivery room, which is completely understandable. We understand how vulnerable this time is for partners, too and we always take extra time and care to educate and encourage partners in their valuable role so that they feel confident and capable to be the best support person possible! You see, a doula doesn't replace the partner, she empowers him and supports him as he cares for you!

You weren't meant to do this alone. Adding a doula to your support team gives you the calming reassurance every expecting parent needs. A doula can help guide you through your decisions and provide the information and support you need to feel confident and empowered. With your doula by your side, you'll have a warm, sensitive, and knowledgeable ally to help you navigate this exciting time.

My promise to you is simple:
NO judgement. NO shame. NO guilt.
No matter what your journey looks like,
We will support YOU!

ATTEND MY BIRTH?
A Doula is a professional birth coach who provides emotional, informational, physical, and mental support to women during the prenatal, birth, and postpartum periods. Doulas do not provide medical care but are extraordinarily knowledgeable about childbirth.
The Doula's primary role is to provide any necessary support to the mother and her partner during childbirth. Having a Doula will cut back on labor time, help reduce anxiety, and lower the rate of medical intervention such as a C-section. She will also ensure that mama has a positive and safe birth experience, whether in home, at a birth center, or a hospital.
